Heaven is for real

The sun was ready to set. My family watched the sunset together from the lanai, waiting for the full moon to rise. This was one of urbanwitch's favorite monthly magical events. Waiting for Um@ ( unique, mystical, authentic ) to rise. Sm@rton also loved to watch the moon rise, he taught it is mesmerizing. He got lost in the starry sky, he studied the constellations with his new telescope.
We are very lucky to have a house on the shore.
Heaven is for real if you live by the ocean- I sighed.
We all agreed the sunset was hypnotic, seemed transcendent. Before it sat for the day, it covered everything with its warm pinkish, purplish, orangy rays. After he fully disappeared, the darkness crept upon us. The temperature dropped immediately, lightning appeared in the dark blue, velvety sky. Gently warned us about the coming storm. They were ready for the moon to rise! Um@ our feminine divine! While waiting for her very first sign to show off her silver rays, I was looking around feeling grateful. For everything, I have everyone I met. My heart filled with gratitude, watching the boys and the dog.
It was so quiet, and peaceful. No airplanes, neither cruise ships around, only a few sailboats far away on the horizon. On my far-left, the evening lights of the nearby city sparkled like shiny rubies and diamonds. Hiding behind the evening fog. The waves trembled, got stronger and stronger, the tide was ready to show its power, trying to sweep away the man far on the shore.
He tried so hard to resist the ocean but it's bigger than life, so powerful, pulled the sand under his feet.
Sm@rton giggled watching the man battle with the waves.
I closed my eyes listening to the ocean washing the shore, its tremble synchronized with my heartbeat. The smell of the coming storm, the overwhelming smell of the dead seaweed, the salty ocean satisfied my soul.
Or next-door neighbors started to burn Palo Santo and play the drum.
Mr. Peer-peer was very spiritual his chanting was flying high in the breeze air. It was tranquil. Finally, I opened my eyes just in time watching the moon picking through the horizon. She was enormous! First, she appeared to be fiery orange from the setting sun. The yin and the yang. Only for a second, they meet twice a day, reaching out for each other, joining for a nanosecond, just like platonic lovers then fast depart again. He left so she can shine on her own with all her potential being whole without him. We were watching her rise higher and higher playing peekaboo, hiding behind the fluffy dark clouds. Her silver rays were gently dancing on the deep blue ocean, showing the path back home for the fishermen.
